 At Them, we believe that the awesome creative power of nature is more dramatically represented in the world of insects than anywhere else in the animal kingdom. A very short life span means an insect must compensate by producing astronomical numbers of offspring. A high rate of reproductivity means mutations are frequent, making insects one of the most adaptive and predominant life forms on earth. Great adaptability means great diversity, generating the most colorful and bizarre creatures on the planet.
For over a decade Them has been in the business of collecting and mounting insect specimens which represent some of the most significant, beautiful and impressive insects to be found anywhere in the world. All are completely natural and have not been altered or enhanced. Skilled artisans create our insect art in our Pennsylvania studio and local craftsmen make our hardwood frames. None of the specimens we offer are rare or endangered. The cost of the specimens is a function of the supply network and difficulty of collection, not an indication of endangerment. Them complies with all applicable permit and licensing procedures, which are stringently enforced by U.S. Fish and Wildlife. Quality is our hallmark.
